Friday, May 08, 2009 – It has been reported that Farrah Fawcett at the age 62, has hit her final stages of life as she is being confined to her bed in her California home.

As her health is rapidly decreasing, her German Doctors are said to be heading toward her southern California home to make sure she is comfortable in these last days of her battle with anal cancer.

It is said that she is on intra-venous fluids and all her beautiful golden tresses are gone off her head from the treatment she has been on to help her strive to fight this deadly disease. Some of the IV’s she is on is for her nourishment. The treatment is done.

Fawcett was labeled as a sex symbol in the 1970’s when she took a role to play a female detective on ‘Charles Angels’. She has always been in the spotlight since then.

In 2006 she was diagnosed with anal cancer that needed aggressive treatment. She was treated in the United States and in Germany. Four months after her treatment she was declared to be free of cancer.

Just a few months after the doctors told her the great news of being cancer free; they not only found reoccurrence of the tumor, but found that it had metastasized into her liver.

It has recently been in reports of NBC network showing Fawcett’s documentary of her battle against cancer. “Farrah’s Story” will be seen on the television on May 15th. Farrah will be sharing her thoughts and feelings of battling this disease that has affected so many people. She is hoping that this will help others out there that are struggling with the same battle.
Ryan O’Neil, Fawcett’s longtime partner stated in a recent report that even though how terrible the news would be, Farrah wanted the camera to keep rolling. She wanted the truth out. This film details everything of life as a cancer patient. Her trips overseas to visit doctors for treatment, in Germany were six times. Fawcett’s supervising Doctor over in Germany was Dr. Ursula Jacob at Alpenpark Clinic.

O’Neil stated Farrah as a fighter and with all that went on in making this documentary; he fell in love with her all over again.
