Farrah Fawcett Anal Cancer Update
Fawcett Reportedly Near Death
As viewers tuned in for NBC’s documentary “Farrah’s Story” this past Friday, the sixty-two year old actress Farrah Fawcett was at home in bed, hooked up to an IV, nearing the end of her battle with the very cancer viewers were getting an in depth look at on their TV screens.
The documentary chronicles the former “Charlie’s Angels” star and her two year struggle with anal cancer. The filming holds nothing back, as per Fawcett’s request, giving a hard but accurate look at the trials and tribulations involved with the progression of the disease and the various treatments, which can be very difficult to endure. Through the journey, viewers see a story of hope and strength, and ultimately a story of family and tragedy.
In addition to footage of Fawcett as she underwent her treatments, the documentary also includes insightful and exclusive interviews with her friends and family, commenting not only on the details of Fawcett’s health, but also providing viewers with a rare understanding of the woman herself.
Fawcett also made news recently with her brave choice to not only fight against her cancer, but to also fight for her right to privacy as well, proving that news leaked about her condition to tabloids was coming from the hospital itself, resulting in an employee resigning and pleading guilty to criminal charges.
While viewers were given this exclusive sneak peak at Fawcett’s trying battle, it is Fawcett’s closest friends and family who are with her as she nears the end.

Last night I watched a powerful women embark on a journey that the majoity of people will never be able to grasp. She opened my eyes to so much that warrants a physical/monetary re-action on my behalf. Three years ago I was presented with a similar diagnosis, but my outcome was positive. I don’t think you have to be apart of someone’s family to grieve for them, so I will be praying for their strength to endure this final “physical” walk with Farrah. Her legacy never dies!!! So she still wins!!!
Farrah is a true American hero. This woman’s courage and true talent will live on forever. She has lived up to her icon status. God Bless her and her family and friends.
I know what the words, “You have cancer” means and it is like someone punched you hard in the stomach and sucked all the air out. Cancer is a terrible disease and my 40 year old sister-in-law died from it and now my 53 year old cousin is also dying of it. So cancer affects so many people with a very devastating affect.
I cried a bit during her story and I think she was very brave to have recorded that for others to see what the battle with cancer is like. But I say shame…shame…shame…on the relentless paparrazzi who pursued her.
GOD BLESS FARRAH AND HER FAMILY.GOD BLESS RYAN FOR BEING THERE FOR HER.AND GOD BLESS THE JUDGE THAT LET REDMOND SEE HER HOPEFULLY NOT THE LAST TIME.I COULD NOT EVEN THINK I COULD SURVIVE SOMETHING LIKE THIS, BUT IF I EVER HAVE TO FACE IT I WILL ALWAYS THINK OF FARRAH. I CRYED THE WHOLE 2 HOUR. CRYED HAPPY TEARS WITH FARRAH AND SAD TEARS, THANK GOODNESS I TAPED IT SO I CAN WATCH IT LATER.
