Patrick Swayze Not Dead: Cancer Update
Numerous media organizations have been speculating for months that actor Patrick Swayze is to die any day now due to his battle with pancreatic cancer.
One particular radio state in Jacksonville, Florida now appears to have gone too far by jumping the gun and already pronouncing Swayze dead.
This was an inaccurate report and was something that troubled the Swayze family once they heard about the report. Swayze greatly enjoys spending time on his ranch with his wife Lisa and they are in fact writing a book together.
His rep Annett Wolf denied the reports of Swayze’s death on Tuesday.
“This is to confirm that Patrick Swayze did not pass away this morning contrary to severely reckless reports stemming from a radio station in Jacksonville, Florida.
“Patrick Swayze is alive, well and is enjoying his life and he continues to respond to treatment.”
As noted on his ABC interview with Barbara Walters Mr. Swayze happens to be enjoying life quite extensively. He does have some troubles with the cancer that caused him to take days off during the filming of his A&E series “The Beast.” Swayze still appears on a majority of the episodes and in fact also does promotional work for the series on the road from time to time.
The fact remains that Patrick Swayze is indeed alive and doing well.
