Easy Rider Star Dennis Hopper Dead

Dennis Hopper died at 8:15am PST this morning, May 29, 2010, at his coastal Los Angeles home surrounded by friends and family, he was the age of 74. Hopper had been suffering from a bout of prostate cancer of which he was diagnosed with recently.

Dennis Hopper is a well know and well respected actor, artist and filmmaker. His first appearance was in 1955 in Rebel Without a Cause, where he appeared with James Dean. Over the years Hopper has made many appearances in the film world and even earned a star on the Walk of Fame as recently as March 26, 2010. His appearance in films including Hoosiers, Blue Velvet, Easy Rider, Out of the Blue and Paris Trout have helped him win numerous awards. The most recent award he achieved was the MTV Movie Award for Best Villain in the movie Speed.

Mr Hopper has lived a full and exciting life including five marriages, four children and two grandchildren. He has had many accomplishments to be proud of and his name is sure to live on in the film world for a long time. Dennis Hopper has became an icon to the industry and he will not soon be forgotten.
