Reggae singer Gregory Isaacs dies of liver cancer
Reggae singer Gregory Isaacs died of liver cancer in London Monday morning.
Isaacs was diagnosed with cancer of the liver which spread to other organs. He is survived by wife. Linda, and children.
When patients or doctors talk about liver cancer, they are often referring to cancer that has spread to the liver, having originated in other organs such as the colon or stomach,
Liver cancer occurs when the cells of the liver tissue become cancerous. Liver cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the world.
Only days ago Gregory’s wife Linda admitted her husband was “not well” but declined to make further comment.
Isaacs has been a steady presence on the reggae music scene for some time, who was nicknamed the Cool Ruler, was best known for the song ‘Night Nurse’. The 1982 album titled Night Nurse, recorded at Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong studio, reached number 32 in the UK.
