Obama’s Transition Team Hears About Health Care
Seattle – A lot of work should be done this year by the newly elected president of the United States, Barack Obama. And the people of the United States are truly hoping that fixing the American health care system was one of the resolutions that Obama made this New Year.
The transition team of Barack Obama office has been working or several months already trying to make the switch from the old government to new as smooth as possible. And though the transition will be smooth, there are still lots of issues that will have to be faced and many problems that Barack Obama will have to solve in the first few months of his presidency. The rising insurance premiums are one of the most important.
Many people cannot afford having health insurance as a result of the constantly rising insurance costs, and there are now about 50 million people living without health insurance in the United States today. And about 10 million of them are children. And as the economic situation is getting worse now and that there are a lot more people, who’ve lost their jobs, the situation could get even worse the next year. This isnt something the American government should allow!
The Health and Human Services Department Secretary of Obama office, Tom Daschle, and Barack Obama should work with the US Congress trying to fix the situation in the health care system before it gets worse. And even if it will mean spending more money for the American government, they still should work on programs that will provide cheaper and more affordable health insurance programs to provide insurance coverage for everyone who needs it.
Starting his work on this problem, Barack Obama has conducted a call for opinions and thousands of people all over the United States have answered questions about the health care system and trying to suggest some possible solutions. The Obama team had lots of small groups working on this survey all over the country and by last week they have received reports from over 600 groups. And was found out, that everyone and all over the country needs the health insurance problems solved, both patients and doctors, business people and housewives.
One of the things Barack Obama is going to do, is listen to the ideas of the health care professionals, whose voices were mostly unheard last time when the health care reform was discussed.
We only have a few more weeks to wait before Barack Obama and his team takes the office and starts their actual work in the US Parliament. Every American citizen is waiting for this to happen and is hoping to see more positive changes in the Health Care system, as well as many other aspects of American life.
I think a national health care program like the one for citizens of Japan would be nice for the citizens of the United States.If you are not a legal may be the country from which you came from ought to foot your bill and give the USA a break !! also the half naked picture of Obama is a definate turn-off ,don’t you think the picture of the president elect ought to be one more dignified and maybe he should be dressed.
Withoutout the prevention promotion, any plan won’t work out well, I guess. I’d love to suggest eating less and spendig more on school supplies, and brushing teeth after meal be the first thing to do. Please try to find out the unheathy people brushing teeth after meal, who might not be many. The mouth after meal can be the best place for germs and so on. The people having this habit at workplace will agree with me. Take care !
