Duggar family expecting another child: 19 Kids And Counting

Josh, 22, the eldest of the Duggar offspring, and his wife, Anna, 22, will welcome their second child in June 2011. He and Anna already have a daughter, Mackynzie, who turned a year old on Oct. 8.

“It was awesome to get the news,” says Josh.

The biggest question the young couple gets is how many kids do they want. The couple simply answers by saying they are leaving that decision in Gods hands.

Grandparents Jim Bob and Michelle couldn’t be happier. “We are so excited about the new expansion to our family,” Jim Bob said.

Jim Bob Duggar and his wife Michelle, who was named Young Mother of the Year in Arkansas in 2004, are conservative Baptists who endorse the Quiverfull movement and the teachings of Bill Gothard. Mr. Duggar is a former state legislator who served in the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1999 to 2002. He is now a real estate agent.

The Duggars became a line-up in one of TLC’s many family reality shows, 19 Kids and Counting which is in its fifth season. The Duggars have nine girls and ten boys. The last girl was born in 2009. All boys names begin with the letter “J”.
