Kourtney Kardashian’s son rushed to hospital for peanut allergy
Kourtney Kardashian’s son was rushed to hospital by medics after suffering an allergic reaction to peanut butt.
Los Angeles medics rushed to the home Kardashian shares with her boyfriend, Mason’s 27-year-old father Scott Disick, late Friday evening after their son developed the allergic reaction.
Kardashian’s wrote on her blog, “Friday night ate some peanut butter and had a little allergic reaction to it. He threw up within minutes of tasting it and got hives on his face. I called 911 and the fire department came immediately.
“They suggested that we take him to the hospital, so we did. He was in good spirits the whole time and didn’t even know anything was wrong. He even enjoyed riding in the ambulance. He’s such a good boy!!”
The reality star’s mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian explained Monday on Good Day L.A. the allergic reaction happened as Kourtney was trying to expand Manson’s diet.
“You have to test out new foods to see if they have any food allergies,” Kim Kardashian said
An allergy to peanuts is not at all uncommon. Peanut allergy symptoms can range from a minor irritation to a life-threatening reaction (anaphylaxis). It is typically treated with an exclusion diet and causious avoidance of foods that may contain whole peanuts or peanut particles and/or oils.
