Farrah Fawcett Anal Cancer Update

Tuesday, 19 May 2009

Tuesday, May 19, 2009 – NBC has requested a sequal to Farrah Fawcett’s documentary.
The strong ratings that “Farrah’s Story” brought this past Friday, with almost 9 million viewers watching, the network has ordered for a follow up on Farrah and how she is today.

Ryan O’Neal, Fawcett’s longtime partner stated that they haven’t stopped filming, and eventually there will be a second follow-up on her life.

The former “Charlie’s Angels” star was diagnosed with anal cancer back in 2006. After some treatment she considered herself cancer free, 4 months later the doctors diagnosed her with metastasized liver cancer.

The film that was aired this past Friday on NBC was mostly narrated by Farrah herself, and she tells a lot of her feelings as she journeys through the battle of treatments to stop this deadly disease of cancer.

O’Neal said as Farrah watched the 2 hour film of her fight her pulse got stronger as the show went on. Ryan stated that watching that again brought her back to the long journey she has gone through with this fight.

Alana Stewart stated the when she asked Farrah how she liked it, the 62 year old actress said she liked it very, very much.

Farrah’s doctors have not told her a certain time of survival. According to Alana Stewart, Fawcett’s close friend, that the former star is saying it is a good sign for Farrah that there is no timetable set for her so they are still waiting for that miracle to happen.
